TexasBank is pleased to announce Kelsey Goates has joined the Stephenville location as Vice President Market Manager
Central Texas President, L.V. Coffee recently shared the announcement stating, “Our Stephenville market is comprised of a dedicated team of individuals committed to improving and supporting the communities we serve. Kelsey brings many qualities to the team including experience, leadership and enthusiasm. Her passion and knowledge of community banking paired with love for our communities make her the perfect fit to our growing TexasBank team.”

Goates is a graduate of Tarleton State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. Her banking career started in 2013 as a Teller, and she quickly moved up the ranks to Branch Operations Manager in 2019. A jack of all trades, she also managed the Human Resources Department as well as the Marketing Department where she gained the coveted certification of
Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) from the American Bankers Association.

Also in Goates’ professional arsenal is a human resources background where she holds the Society of Human Resource Management Certification (SHRM-CP). Awards Kelsey has won in 2024 include the Texas Bankers Association Emerging Leader Award, and the Independent Community Bankers of America Top 40 under 40 Community Banker Award. Later this fall, she will also participate in the Banking on Leaders of Tomorrow (BOLT) program with the Dallas Federal Reserve.

Kelsey’s introduction to TexasBank comes with the announcement of Katharine Demetruk’s retirement. Demetruk, who recently celebrated 46 years in banking, was able to welcome Goates to the TexasBank family and entrusts her to continue the legacy and deep community roots of TexasBank in the Stephenville surrounding areas. 

Goates, elated for the future states, “I am thrilled to be a part of such an incredible, growth-minded organization. TexasBank’s vision and position in community banking is nothing short of impressive and I am looking forward to being a part of that legacy.”

Kelsey is currently serving as the President for the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erath County Board of Directors, the Texas Bankers Association Bank Leadership Council, and the Independent Bankers Association of Texas Leadership Division board.

Kelsey is married to Dustin who is a supervisor at Schreiber Foods in Stephenville. When not working, Kelsey and Dustin enjoy spending time with their two children, Makynlee and Tyler, visiting their family ranch in Coleman County, and running with the Stephenville Running Club.
